 Neymar will not be fit to play against Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie tomorrow, according to Paris Saint-Germain.

After suffering an adductor injury in the first leg at the Camp Nou, the Brazilian was unable to face his former club.

While Neymar has returned to training, he is still not ready to play. Moise Kean, who scored in the first leg, will also be unable to participate.

PSG's argument is as follows:

“Sergio Rico will not be practicing this morning due to personal reasons.

“Last week, Neymar JR returned to partial training with the team and will continue his individual rehabilitation work. In the coming days, a new assessment will be made.


“Juan Bernat's rehabilitation and personal recovery continue.


“Moise Kean remains in isolation as a result of Covid-19.”

 

 After a 4-1 victory in the first leg at Barcelona, the French champions will still be heavy favorites to advance, leaving the Catalan giants in search of something spectacular on Wednesday to advance.
